These photos of SPEL\’s Vortceptor GPTs were taken a few weeks ago from one of our projects in Wollondilly Shire. The contractor needed a GPT solution that could service a 5.0m deep stormwater drainage line with a 4.0m depth below invert into hard rock. Quite literally a tall order, it was a pleasure for SPEL to answer the call!
SPEL Vortceptor GPT is a non-blocking hydrodynamic separator that captures gross pollutants, sediments, silt, total suspended solids, some nutrients and oil and grease. It has a unique screen and treatment action that produces vortex conditions resulting in excellent pollution removal performance and high water quality outcomes.
